Habanero Life (Hot Sauce)

It’s been about three years and my quest on trying to make great hot sauce continues, this new recipe takes the taco. I’ve tried using everything from ghost peppers, Thai chilies and jalapenos but growing my own habanero peppers (with their unique fruity but spicy as hell flavor) and adding fresh vegetables makes this sauce in a league of it’s own…

Tandoori Chicken Tacos

Lately I’ve been reading up on Indian, Middle Eastern and North African  cooking techniques and cuisines. What fascinates me is the slow cooking of stews, braised meats and the use of spices and ingredients I’ve never even heard of. The great thing about knowing cuisines from around the world is being able to infuse them together in your own cooking. Here’s some basic tacos I made with tandoori chicken.

Make the marinade with yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, cayenne pepper, paprika, cumin, coriander, cardamom, salt and pepper.
